It was a very last minute booking, so I looked for the cheapest option and didnt read the reviews. So essentially, I would say it was my fault. The staff courteous and the food was good. However, the room was too small, the bathroom & sink was too small, stains were on the sheets and the rooms were so close, that any movement in another room was felt. Furthermore, no toilet paper roll, just pull-out tissue. Of course I was not expecting a 5-star hotel but I believe a hotel in a city like London, should meet certain standards. Nonetheless, I take full responsibility for this experience.

The property was beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff were extremely helpful and attentive throughout our stay. The only downside was the air conditioning, which wasn’t cooling properly. I raised the issue with the staff and, although they tried to fix it and managed to get a bit of improvement, the AC still never worked as it should. Other than that, everything else was lovely, and for the price we paid, it was still a good experience overall.
