Small rooms and maintenance issues

The only good part of the hotel was Mr. Sai Major maintenance issues and fans don't work... need to be thrown most uncomfortable stay and rigid policies Not at all tourist friendly. one of the reception staff, Madalina or something was very rude.... no hospitality at all... Sai and Lekha wre good but they could not help the lousy condition of the hotel Don't stay

The staff were wonderful, from check in to check out. I was particularly impressed by the amenities in the room--iron and ironing board, especially. The food for breakfast was vintage English breakfast! It was delicious. There was a slight delay in replenishing some of the food. Nevertheless, breakfast was still great.

Excellent value and great staff

Friendly, polite and welcoming staff. Staff kept us informed on the status of our food order. Food was delicious and great value for money. Plenty of parking available. Room was fabulous loved the rain shower. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

First night we stayed in a standard double room. Very hot and opened the window but didn’t help as it was incredibly noisy from the traffic all night. We upgraded the second night to a deluxe king room. Much more room and could keep the window closed as the room had aircon. Much more comfortable but the sheets had a stain on it. Was a great stay other than the heat and stain. Staff were very lovely and I 10/10 recommend the breakfast!

Not the best…

Air con didn’t work ask to get it mix but it didn’t. Car park was full on the first night, paying was difficult as you only have limited time so waiting for a space driving around could mean you get fined. Beds were completely worn out, very uncomfortable. Our room was on the front of the hotel, extremely noisy at night with cars racing up and down Purley Way.

Shame about reception...

Lived in Croydon most of my life though now moved away and always wanted to stay here. I really liked my stay and the building and everything. All is good apart from the sour-faced receptionist I was greeted with. The complete opposite to the receptionist I was greeted by at a cheaper establishment the night before.

Hi, I did not like the noise from the car park and i did not get a minutes peace and quiet. I actually booked for June 2925 and the jumped when completed to July 2025. I was charged for this and paid, i arrived at tge Hotel and the reservation was for July 2025. It was in the afternoon around 2pm then i was told to have a look online. I could not leave and find a another hotel because it was so late. I would like the full refund for i think around £120.00 please this is a genue booking fault for the reservation to control itself and completely change the booking. Can you please kindly refund me. The noise was diabolical and i had no sleep. Can you please refunf the card immediately. Thank you very much, Rajini Holliday
