For the cost, the hotel was poor value. Simple things like batteries not working in the tv remote and the shower being broken does not strike me as 4* facilities. Breakfast was ok but only one coffee machine working doesn’t help. If you want to charge the premium rate you should offer a premium service.
Room was on the small side and TV kept switching off randomly..
Breakfast was good, plenty selection and nice option of table service order for cooked option.
Overall nice and clean but I wouldn't compare it that favourably to premier inns I have stayed in, so for me, not worth the higher price than P.I.
Great hotel in excellent location. All staff were really friendly and provided helpful information about the hotel's services. Bed was very comfortable and room was a good size and very clean. Quality bed linen and towels too. Plenty of choice of cooked and continental style breakfast items. Really great value stay. Will definitely be back for another stay.
Great luxurious hotel right in the centre of Newcastle!
Only negative that sticks out was that we could hear the fan extractor outside the window of our room on a night. It was quite noisy and struggled to block it out.

Great service, but room felt cheap
Great friendly Geordie hospitality and service from the staff. Alas, the room - while clean - had no view and the build quality of the room walls and their thinness mean you hear everything. Seems like the hotel was built on the cheap. Great location though being in the heart of the city.
Good central hotel, lovely clean rooms and nice breakfast. Although very busy so had to clean and set own table, ran out of coffee beans and pastries, but would stay again. Good value evening meal deal and friendly staff. Really needs a loo brush in bathrooms and shower caps.
The room was incredibly noisy with music from an external venue. When I asked reception staff for another room none of equivalence was available but he told me the music was from the golf venue next door and would stop at 11. It was still going at 2am and I couldn’t sleep because of the strength of the bass
The hotel also directs you to online check in so I was unaware until too late that I should have had 20% off my meal.
Finally, the television was on the wall opposite the door and could not be viewed from any seating or the bed. Bizarre, ridiculous and pointless given televisions are a basic expected amenity in a hotel room
Good location - walked to the stadium and dinner. Room was clean and good size. AC was hard to figure out and we ultimately ended up opening the window to cool off - not sure how much is user error vs the system itself. Would stay again tho if I was seeing another football game
