A bitter sweet stay. All the usual amenities, lovely clean room, nice evening meal, easy free parking, with the highlight being greeted by the delightful Nevada. The sad ending was to find that this is her last week. She has been a real credit to the hotel, and I wish her well in wherever her career path takes her next.

Lovely room with comfortable bed. Great atmosphere and the staff are very friendly, particularly those serving breakfast. Substantial grounds and plenty of place to park. I can hardly believe it used to be a Ladies’ Hall of Residence when I was a student at Leeds. Lucky ladies!

The room was clean, glad it included a smart tv, so could mirror my device. The layout of the room was odd. Also, the double bed was basically 2 singles joined together which was uncomfortable to sleep on. Staff however were very nice, really good location

Nevada was back!! Otherwise, the usual comfortable stay in nice quiet surroundings and good choice of dining options. Dom was also very helpful when I checked in on the first night. Front of house is first impressions at any hotel and these staff are exceptional.

First impressions were not good. I was in a rush to drop my bag and get back out. However check-in was unbelievably inefficient with three people in front of me it took about 20 minutes before I was served. The reception running check in spent an age running through all the amenities, parking procedures, and requesting a form to be filled in, The simple solution would be to open another desk and during this time I saw one manager walk past the queue about 3 or 4 times and not take the initiative to help. Eventually I asked if another person returning to reception could check me in and she did so, professionally. Again- I had to fill in a form with all the same details as I provided when booking the hotel. Ridiculous. As I was only there to crash while on a night out in Leeds I can’t comment on the facilities, but overall it seemed decent value for money. The bathroom needed a bit of bleach to clean up a bit of black mould and the mattress / bedding was all pretty low quality- but you get what you pay for.

My Perfect Weetwood Hall Stay in Leeds I booked Weetwood Hall on a whim – no big expectations, just a place to stay. But wow, what a surprise! The lobby’s got gorgeous historic charm mixed with modern warmth. My room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and it came with a fancy coffee machine that made my mornings. Dinner at the brasserie was incredible – I settled on 3 small platters; it didn't disappoint, excellent service, no complaints.
