I checked into my room. The window was open which is usual after a clean. However as I pulled the window shut the handle came off and screws and nuts fell on the floor. I could see both windows were I a very tired worn out state. Sadly we I told reception and gave them the broken handle it was not repaired which I thought very strange. I enjoyed the room and the bar and breakfast was very nice. Pity about the windows

Beautiful Grounds & Historic Setting: Comfortable Rooms Convenient Location Overall, Weetwood Hall Estate offers a charming and comfortable stay, especially appreciated for its historic ambiance and friendly staff. However, if I were to pick a fault it would be the temperature of the breakfast.

Hotel very clean Excellent choice of breakfast. Staff were exceptionally friendly and provided excellent service. Restaurant menu didnt have a great choice especially vegetarian. Only downside to our stay was the noise from the bypass very loud even with the window and curtains closed.

Beautiful venue

Overall very happy with our stay. Only some attention to detail issues. Our room was not ready on arrival. We didn't wait long but it wasn't as if we arrived early. Also we were offered drinks while waiting which I later found out we were charged for. Our tea and coffee was not replenished after the first night.
