Although the hotel was dog friendly,and brilliant. the area around was not, we went to go for a meal in the pub next to hotel. No dogs allowed other eateries the same. Which was not handy.

Cheap abd uninspiring

Room was ok. No creamer or milk with the instant cofffee in the room I ate in the bar. Just a burger, I wanted mustard but there wasn’t any. Breakfast was help yourself. Sausages, bacon and hash browns were only warm and had obviously been lying a long time.

This hotel is within easy reach of the Metro Centre either on foot or by car. Its location is excellent for walks along the river. It is easily accessed from the A1. The rooms are a bit sparse but comfortable. The breakfast is good. And most importantly for us the place is dog friendly.
