Air conditioning was great although you can’t set it to heat or cold it’s just to set to default air mode although like I said it still works good. The room was very secure, had to cover the peephole as there’s no cover on it normally. TV was really good and WiFi speeds acceptable good enough for streaming. Bathroom was okay although it appears there’s no extractor fan and the way the bath is it’s very easy to slip as it’s not fully level. Shower pressure great, towels provided great. For the price I paid I cannot complain. Can be a noisy location if you hate noise from clubs until 1am - 2am then I’d bring some ear plugs or leave the tv on to drain the club sounds out. Overall great hotel and great price.

I was originally due to stay with a friend but unfortunately she became unwell so I needed to switch my twin room for a double as my husband decided to come instead. Lucia responded to my email within minutes and amended the reservation for me. Great service, thank you! The hotel is in a great location although a little noisy because of this in the night.

The reception staff, lifts, amenities in the room etc are all up to a good standard and I found that everyone I spoke to was really friendly and helpful. We parked across the road in an ncp car park for a little over £15/24 hours. The location is perfect for shopping and getting to central events, which was the reason for our stay. The room was a good size and had a nespresso machine but the bathroom is dated and some of the furniture in the room is tired and needs replacing. The main issue though is noise. I am not a light sleeper and I don’t think I got more than 3-4 hours sleep. The doors to the rooms do not provide adequate noise cancelling to begin with so you can hear everything in the corridor and so I assume people outside can hear what’s going on in the room - not very private. Secondly, the hotel is near a nightclub. I tried to sleep between 12am and 7am and was awoken constantly by external music, screaming, shouting, singing, sirens and what sounded like someone hitting a bus stop screen or advert board repeatedly. I eventually remembered I had some ear plugs which meant I finally got some sleep, but even with those in I could still hear noise before I drifted off. The hotel could perhaps invest in better glazing to avoid this issue. I was on the 7th floor so goodness knows how it must feel to be on lower floors. A really good hotel at a fair price otherwise, but unfortunately if I can’t sleep, it’s a waste of money staying.
