I had read the reviews and expected a hassle-free stay, especially given how close the hotel is to the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful, and this review is not a reflection of their service — they truly tried their best. Unfortunately, the issues we experienced were related to the hotel’s maintenance. The first room we were assigned had a non-working phone, television, and heater. In the second room (Room #10), those items were functioning, but the room felt smaller and the shower drain was clogged. The water backed up quickly, so we had to take very short showers to prevent it from overflowing. It was too late at night to address this, and we were leaving early the next morning for our flight. Regarding the restaurant- We were too tired to go out to eat, and London was too far, so we dined at the hotel. I felt bad for the server, as she appeared to be the only one waiting tables and working very hard. The food was okay given the type of hotel this was. The staff on duty worked diligently, but due to these issues, I won’t be booking at any Ibis hotels in the future

The first room I was assigned the heat was not working. I had to ask for another room, and then that one the heat was set to 30 degrees C yet it absolutely wasn’t. I didn’t bother complaining again as clearly they were having issues with the heat and it was very late. The room was clean and perfectly adequate for a quick overnight stay, but I felt like I was being “too much” for asking for a room that had working heat and didn’t find the customer service welcoming. I have stayed here before and that was not the case previously.

Ok if you want a cheap room to get your head down for the night. Room was a bit cold and the duvet pretty thin, the shower could have been a bit hotter and the breakfast was mediocre but for £70 a night at Heathrow airport it wasn’t too bad. You get what you pay for at the end of the day. Good proximity to terminal 2 but still a short taxi ride away.

Room was nice with Heathrow airport views from the window & en suite was clean & everything looked modern. There was an issue with the room door not closing properly & wi-fi issues. The hotel did offer me to move rooms but they had the issue sorted out a few hours later. They have a bar there serving 24hrs & serve food & offer room service. The beds are really comfortable & climate control works well

Breakfast was okay but no hash browns, salt or pepper. Which was still okay. However, we booked a room with a queen bed but due to being fully booked were given an assessable room which wasn't really comfortable. Also, the toilet pressure wasn't the best. However, overall stay for a night is okay. Also, limited parking space.

I had to change the rooms 3 times after check in. Wifi wasn't working in 2 of the rooms. This was a problem which could've been avoided by just checking if the wifi login is working or not. I had a long flight and wanted to crash asap but I couldn't unpack for 2+ hrs.

We only used the room for a few hours but were very satisfied. The staff noticed I had difficulty walking and automatically assigned us a mobility room without any discussion. We were able to get a hot cup of tea and they booked us a taxi to the airport.

Affordable but modern and well appointed. Clean and comfortable. Food was great. Bottomless free tea and coffee was a Godsend. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. It's ten minutes from Terminal 2 and the bus for all terminals stops out fromt every 30 minutes. Perfect location for a quick sleep and scoot to Heathrow.
