We often stay at the Pan Pacific in North York, as it is close to our medical appointments. The hotel is clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating. There is a variety of dining options in and around the hotel. The grounds are beautiful. We usually have a quiet, enjoyable stay and the price is still reasonable. We love the international atmosphere. This visit the tv in our room wouldn't work, even though hotel maintenance tried their best to repair it. Not a huge deal for us, though disappointing for our two night's stay, but I was hoping the hotel would discount our bill as a gesture of good will. They did not.

Very nice hotel to stay in, however overnight parking at the hotel is $20 per night added to your total. I don’t believe that was ever advertised, or at least not well enough for my group to make an informed choice on where to stay! Other than that, it’s pretty cool!

The lobby and restaurant were very nice. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. The actual room itself was clean, but a bit outdated. The bathroom ceiling was taped up in two areas for some reason and had ants. Overall I’d say it was good with room for improvement.

They said at 17 minutes from Rogers Center Stadium and it us not true it is more than 30 minutes and with the traffic much more we have paid 2 taxis 70 $ each for 6 persons to go there … sorry but not recommend if you are in the downtown

The lobby and dining areas are nice and smell so good but the rest of the hotel really needs work. The place as a whole seemed a bit run down. Staff members were friendly and the breakfast buffet was good. Only 2 out of 3 elevators were in operation due to maintenance. The line ups and wait times for the elevators were long. We often took the stairs which lead directly out of the building and had to double back in. The pool walls were cracking and pieces falling into the water. Broken sun chairs. Pool towels were paper thin and small. Indoor pool area and hot tub were shut down. The room balcony was in the same shape as the pool, falling apart. The balcony door couldn’t shut all the way. Not great at night with the sirens and humidity. The AC was so loud and clunky. Beds were comfy but some pillow cases were threadbare or had holes in them.
