Spacious older home in downtown Driggs with a fully stocked kitchen, WiFi, laundry, a game room with pool table, large backyard with trampoline, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, deck off the master suite, and is conveniently located close to restaurants and near a grocery store.

The Space:
This home was built in 1978 and remains one of the classic, vintage downtown Driggs homes. From the front yard. you can see the Grand Teton in Grand Teton National Park. Being right on the main road gives you easy access to downtown Driggs and Grand Targhee.

Guest Access:
The home is self-check-in and out. Property details will be sent one week before check-in.

The house, conveniently located near town, offers ample space with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, ideal for large groups, especially in winter. Although I was aware it needed updates from reviews, I booked it last-minute for July at a high price. The owner is slowly upgrading furniture; while the beds and living room furnishings were nice, improvements are needed in the dining area, kitchen, and carpeting. Small issues like mismatched towels and silverware could be quickly addressed. However, the low-flying planes overhead are a downside. My main concern was the frequent visits from strangers managing the sprinklers without notice. Despite our request to handle it ourselves, the owner continued sending people, causing tension with the property managers. While the location was great, I may opt for a different, better-reviewed place next time.

Great place to stay!

We rented Sven’s house for a girls trip. The location was perfect, the house was clean and had plenty of space for all 7 of us. Sven was a great host, he was very good about checking in to see if we needed anything before our stay. Awesome place!

Good proximity to GTNP & Yellowstone

Overall, we had a good stay and the home was adequately fitted with what we needed for the week. It was 1 hour from Grand Teton National Park and 2 hours from Yellowstone, which was perfectly located for our plans. The property itself was a bit older and could use some updates, particularly in the kitchen where two appliances (microwave and coffee maker) weren’t working when we arrived. That said, the host was incredibly responsive and accommodating—new appliances were brought in right away, which made a big difference. The home did have a bit of a musty smell due to no central air conditioning, and we noticed some lingering cigarette smoke, which might bother sensitive guests. The fans and window units helped quite a bit keeping the temperature in the home very comfortable. The host’s quick communication and willingness to address issues promptly helped make our stay much more comfortable.

Last Resort

The home itself was nice, but on the old side. A coat of interior paint would do wonders. The location is on highway 33 across from the airport so very noisy. The kitchen utensils, pots/pans and kitchen towels all need to be replaced. We had to replace the coffee carafe because the existing one was broken and leaked coffee all over the floor. Needless to say, we left a day early.

Great house that needs improvement

The physical shell of the house is amazing. But it has no central air conditioning so staying there in summer months is rough in the main common areas. The bedrooms have window AC units so bedrooms are cool but if you want to watch TV in the main living room it’s hot. Also, while the photos of the house show a pool table, there is only one cue stick with a usable tip. The others have no tips and the pool room, like the main living room, has no AC so it’s hot. I think this house would be amazing to stay in during cooler months than in the summer. But if you like to play pool, bring your own tips.
