Welcome to "La Maison," a charming cottage nestled in the heart of the peaceful village of Lacave, a stone's throw from the Dordogne River. This old, characterful house is the perfect retreat for a relaxing vacation, combining tradition and modern comfort. Designed to accommodate up to six people, it offers three bedrooms perfect for lie-ins or naps after a day in the great outdoors. The fully renovated kitchen is ready to accommodate your cravings for local cuisine—why not try a porcini mushroom omelet or a local walnut tart? The sunny terrace, a true living space when the weather is nice, awaits you for quiet breakfasts, aperitifs, or dinners under the stars. Birdsong for company, a light breeze, and sometimes the scent of a barbecue in the making... Just a few minutes' walk or bike ride away, the Dordogne unfolds its cool, clear waters: swimming, relaxing, or picnicking on the banks, the choice is yours. For the more adventurous, head to Saint-Sozy and its canoe trips, a magical way to discover the cliffs, castles, and caves that line the river. The region is full of treasures: the Lacave caves, Rocamadour, the gourmet market in Souillac, and the hiking trails... Here, every day is a promise of discovery. "La Maison" is where you come to recharge your batteries and explore... and you leave with only one idea: to return. Access to the cottage is via a staircase at the front of the house and another staircase leading to the terrace on the other side. The entrance hall leads to a separate kitchen, a shower room, and a separate toilet. The living room with TV leads to a bedroom with a double bed, then two other bedrooms with double beds. Access to the terrace from the living room (gas grill and barbecue). Unfenced grounds. Bed linen included. Towels, end-of-stay cleaning, electricity, and heating are optional (subject to meter reading).
