Here you are warmly welcomed to a lovely cottage on the shore of Lake Vänern and with a fantastic panoramic view. The holiday home has 3 cozy bedrooms, 2 of which are inside the house, both equipped with a double bed. In addition, there is a bunk bed with 2 sleeping places in the associated annex. The house has an open plan between the living room and the nice, functional kitchen. There is also a fresh bathroom. From the terraces surrounding the house you can enjoy the beautiful lake view and a relaxing stay.



Things to do in Mellerud and the surrounding area

The holiday home is secluded with its own beach for exciting swimming and fishing excursions on Lake Vänern. Boat is available for rent from the host. Here you are only a short walk from Vita Sandar's campsite with swimming pools, a family-friendly sandy beach and many activities. Dalsland's forests offer wonderful nature experiences and there are plenty of trails for both hiking and cycling, e.g. in the nearby Kroppefjäll nature reserve. There are also a lot of berries and mushrooms here, plus the occasional moose.

If you like excursions, you should take the opportunity to visit the Aqueduct in Håverud and their Canal Museum, which attracts many visitors all year round. If you want to taste real Dalsland bread cakes, you can visit Hamrane Bak and Kaffestuga. A boat trip on Dalsland's canal is also a must when visiting the area.
